Hey there, welcome to our farm. I‘m Sam. I’ll be your host for the remainder of the show. In the photo above from left to right is our five year-old Judah, my husband Jerry, myself (with baby number 3 on the way), and our nearly 3 year-old Ezra. We are a young family on a small farm learning old skills and growing a BIG community. We are lovers of all things home: steading, schooling, and making. We are so blessed to cook our own food, raise our own animal products, and teach our own kids.
THE FARM is where we raise 90% of the animal products we consume. Meat, milk, eggs, butter, yogurt, and cheese, all of it comes from our own animals and is processed by our own hands. During peak growing season we can produce up to 100% of the food our family needs. We know that the life we live isn’t the norm anymore. We recognize that this style of living is a privilege. So to help bridge the gap between need and means, we've stepped into the role of producers. Which brings me to...
THE FOOD we aim to produce and provide is whole and real. We currently have raw cow milk available for animal consumption. Soon we hope to offer custom butchery and homesteading/homemaking related classes. Our depression era skills aren’t ones that most people possess these days. As we escape the rat race we’re drawing a map for those seeking a way out.
